Weekly Certification System
You may not file a weekly certification at this time.

In order to meet the work registration requirement for unemployment insurance benefits, you must register for work with NC Works Online by visiting www.NC Works.gov and creating an online account.

Click on the ‘Not Registered?’ link and then select ‘Individual’ under Option 2 –Create a User Account. The website will then guide you through the steps to complete your account setup.

If you’ve previously registered and it has been more than 90 days since you have logged in to the website, you must visit NC Works.gov and verify your information in order to reactivate your account. After you register or reactivate your registration, you may file your weekly certification on the following business day.

If you have not recently filed a claim for unemployment insurance benefits you must register for work at www.NCWorks.gov, by creating an NC Works online account. You may then file a claim at www.ncesc.com
